Unreleased Song #10: It Could Have Been Me (Patreon)

I'm jam-packing your Patreon inbox this weekend because the latest unreleased song is here... 

This song is actually related to marriage a bit, in that I wrote it after realizing I could have almost married someone who wasn't right for me. 

"All your talk about a diamond ring, like a band of gold could change anything."

It was weird to think "it could have been me" if I hadn't trusted my gut... if I didn't share my truth & end a seemingly good relationship. Ever felt that way?

More than ever, I'm relieved that I waited until my heart was 100% sure I had found the right person for me. 

I co-wrote this song with songwriter/producer Andrew Petroff several years ago in Nashville. It was one of those where we wrote and recorded it in the same day. It's always fun to walk away with something more than an iPhone demo! :) Hope you like it.

We are off to spend the evening on a catamaran in Aruba!! <3
