You may not know this song - yet - but it is a love song like no other.

I remember when my friends first shared Shawn Colvin's recording of Never Saw Blue Like That with me. It completely stopped me in my tracks.

The patience.

The timing.

The phrasing.

The guitar chords are a player's dream, familiar but somehow new again wheh set to these lyrics. Did I mention the stunning lyrics?!  I seriously love everything about this song. 

Though it was written by Jeff Franzel, Tom KImmel & Mark Luna, Shawn Colvin made it famous when she recorded it for the Runaway Bride soundtrack!
