Unreleased Song #3: For You I Am (Patreon)

Until yesterday, I had completely forgotten about this song. I had actually already chosen the unreleased song I would be sharing with you. BUT... yesterday I got an email asking if an artist named Fiona Culley could put this song on "hold" for her upcoming album. When an artist puts a song on hold, it means it's in the running to be part of their album, and nobody else can record it and officially release it before they do. I've actually never had a hold... so I'm excited about it. 

While I hadn't heard of British singer Fiona Culley, she's gone viral on YouTube for her covers of Ed Sheeran.

I dug into my old emails, searching for this song, and found this demo made in 2013! What a throwback. I had to share. My co-writers on this song are Tofer Brown & Keith Follese. Tofer produced this track as we were writing it. That always amazes me! We recorded this at the end of the writing session that day.

Keith Follese wrote songs I grew up listening to... "The Way You Love Me" by Faith Hill, "Something Like That" by Tim McGraw, and "I Love You" by Martina McBride. Just to name a few! I remember being very nervous to write with him!

Since this co-write, Tofer has gone on to write huge songs: "Ocean" for Lady A, "Wine, Beer & Whiskey" & "Problem Child" for Little Big Town, and "Night Shift" for Jon Pardi. He's also produced the latest two Jillian Jacqueline records. Jillian is a friend of mine from when we were kids. So it's always fun to hear the music they make together.

I'll keep you posted as to if/when Fiona Culley might release her version of this song. Until then, ya'll are the only other ones who have heard it. Hope you enjoy.
