You're hearing it first! 'My Muse' is Track 10 from Funeral For My Past (out 9.18.20).

For years of my life, I wrote about one particular person more than anything/anyone else. When that person was no longer tied to my heart, I wondered if I'd ever be able to find that well of inspiration again. This song started as I closed my eyes and began describing a new muse... a fictional muse... someone with depth, an interesting past, and a story that would continue to unfold before my eyes and conjure up songs. 

In the studio, this song was the band's favorite. Musically, I had experimented with new chords/key change that they enjoyed playing. I was elated... mostly because prior to the studio, I'd shared this song with my parents and they were not digging it. It's now their favorite, too. :) You can download My Muse from this post and drop it into your iTunes to enjoy it whenever!
