Argynvosthold is under construction. Sprinkled throughout this post are some impressions and work in progress shots.

Today we will take a look at Argynvosthold, as well as some updates regarding the change in the billing method (detailed here).

The once mighty castle is a place lost in time, desolate and steeped in tragedy.

One large release

Argynvosthold will be released as one LARGE pack, instead of two smaller ones. This allows me to give everything the same amount of attention to detail and will result in an even better end result.

Unique artworks like Argynvost in his past form or the dream-like impression of a mighty castle below are littered throughout the place and reward exploration!

Videos
Included with the release will be several videos to set the mood - for example to introduce the Revenant Knights haunting this place. Consider it a hommage to this iconic part from Resident Evil 1.

Soundtrack by Jon Rob

For me personally, sound is perhaps the most important part of an immersive athmosphere. That's why I partnered up with the insanely talented Jon Rob for this release - Argynvosthold will include an original soundtrack to really up the creepyness factor. If you are like me and value great sound design, do yourself a favour and check out his patreon!

Billing Method Change - now 24.2.2023

As mentioned before, we are changing our billing method from pay per pack to pay per month. I've gone into this in exhaustive detail here, if you fancy a light read.
This was originally planned for the 7th February, but due to delays it will now happen on the 24th February.

If I recall correctly, you're changing the size of the maps from audio files or something like that. Will this allow you to have more sections of the map be one piece, or will it be sliced similarly to the original?

The plan is to have one map per floor, but no promises =) Quality and Performance are tricky at times even with all my optimizations. But it will be WAY less maps than in the first release.

I appreciate the effort! I always have at least one player that mid combat want to reach others rooms and I need to keep loading scenes... this break the flow of combat for me. With less pieces this would be a great help!

Amazing, as usual! Do you have a release date? My party is just about to leave Vallaki and start exploring more and I'd love to get to use this new package. They're absolutely loving all of your work so far!
