With regards to the camping thing, I think it would be cool to see you cook some kind of campfire meal. Maybe something with historical significance and/or a story behind it. Just talking out my ass here, but for example: "The union soldiers would often make corn mush pancakes like this for breakfast because flour was scarce due to most of the country's wheat being grown in the south"
