Hermione kept an eye out for Filch and the rest of the staff as she made her way through the halls of Hogwarts. With every step she took, her heart trembled. Sneaking around the halls in the middle of the night felt wrong. Every muscle in her body was taut and felt like it would snap. Yet she forced herself onward, pushing her forward.

‘Things are only going to get worse. We will need any advantage we can get with how things are going. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and this is undoubtedly those times. With how crazy the past years have been, I’m sure things will only follow that pattern. The fact things haven’t exploded as they have was already a sign.’

In a few minutes, she reached the door to the library. Carefully she opened the door and slipped into it. Her wand gave her enough light to see the shelves and what was around her. Footsteps got louder, and she held her breath and covered the light from her wand.

Right across from the forbidden section, she saw Filch do one last look around before continuing. She waited a few minutes, ensuring he wouldn’t return. When he turned down the corridor, she rushed forward, trying to make as little noise as possible.

She entered the section and finally released all the air in her lungs. “Finally.”

Again she looked, ensuring there wasn’t one more hidden trap or something. With how much Umbridge had done to ensure things went the way she wanted, there might have been more security she wasn’t aware of.

The thought of Professor Umbridge and what she had done made her blood boil. Her nostrils flared as scars on Harry's hand from Umbridge's punishment rushed forward.

‘I never considered murder before, but every time I think of what she had done, the better it seems.’ The whole situation made her scowl the more she thought about it. ‘How can they be stupid enough to think everything will be ok if they just do nothing.’

Every day Voldemort and his forces grew in strength while they remained stagnant because of the ministry. Voldemort’s followers were increasing in number while Minister Fudge tried to pretend everything was ok, even sabotaging their ability to defend themselves to do so.

‘I am not going to let us, be helpless when Voldemort and the rest of the Death Eaters decide to come for us. We have to do something or else. When Voldemort comes, all of us are going to be in his sight, especially Harry.’

Hermione’s face burned at the thought of Harry and how far he had come from the awkward boy she had first met on the train. He had come a long way since then, and his features had refined into that of a handsome young man. With a deep breath, she managed to get her wandering mind under control and focus on what she was going to do.

'I’m going to let anyone or anything hurt you anymore Harry if I can help it.'

A heavyweight appeared in her chest and made her bite her lips. Memories rushed forward of all the two of them had been through together. Her face burned at all of the trials they had been through together.

She had wanted to admit her feelings to him for so long but couldn’t bring herself to do so every time. Not with the looks he had been sending Cho Chang and the ones Ginny had sent him. Seeing all of the attention others had made her pause in trying to win his heart for herself.

'Focus Hermione. Don’t think about your lack of a love live. You came here because you wanted to try, learn, and gather resources for us to practice with.’

She scoured the forbidden section, looking for helpful information, from spells, potions, anything that could improve their work. However, she stopped when she saw what looked to be a tablet of all things. It was hidden behind a glass container, undoubtedly enchanted to keep it out of someone’s.

‘Just what is this doing here? Especially in the Forbidden section of all places?’

Despite all the time she had spent at Hogwarts and exploring this section with the others, this was the first time she had seen this. It was the first time she had seen any technology outside of what people had brought in at Hogwarts.

'There’s no way this belongs to a student. No one would put it on display like this. And there is no way this could belong to any one of the staff at Hogwarts. They have only been around for a couple of years at most. It's far too early for something like this to be around. Not to mention that it doesn’t seem like there is anything magical about it.’

No matter what Hermione thought might be able to explain it; it didn’t work as a proper explanation. Yet it hardly seemed to matter the more she thought about it.

‘The fact this is here, means it has to be something to make it forbidden, but the only question is, what is it?’ A part of her just wanted to continue and search for something with more certainty, yet she couldn’t bring herself to move on just yet. ‘But something like this has to be magical somehow. Otherwise it wouldn't be here.'

Hermione placed her hands against the glass and tried to think of a way that she would be able to get a better look at it and see what information it had on it. ‘Can’t break the glass, or else someone will know I was here. Filch or someone else might hear as well and I would have to leave. And that’s not including any of the magical enchantments the glass might have on it.’

Suddenly the glass containing it disappeared. Hermione looked around, half expecting some figure to come out of the darkness and lap at her. Yet there wasn’t any sign of a figure waiting for her.

“Might as well now that I can touch it.” It came to life when she touched the tablet as if she had touched the power button. “How long has this been here?”

There was a fresh sheen to it, as if someone had grabbed a thing of cleaner and scrubbed every portion of it. With how clean it was, it was as if someone had just taken it out of the packaging.

“No fingerprints, though a cleaning charm might have been used on it.”

In the corner of it, she noticed it had a full battery. With how much battery life it had, it had to have been placed here recently, but there weren't any outlets around here to keep it charged, even if there was a portable charger.

“Hello.”

Hermione dropped the tablet and looked around, her wand raised to defend herself. Despite how hard she looked around, there wasn’t any sign someone had entered the room while she was focused on something else. Seconds dragged out, and her taut nerves loosened.

Again her nerves loosened, and she returned to examining the tablet. She picked it back up again and began going through its contents, wondering what it would have on it. Inside, it was an entire catalog of spells and resources. It was as if she was looking through a database on a computer.

“I don’t recognize any of these spells.”

“You wouldn’t.”

Again Hermione clenched. The voice sounded like it was coming from everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. Still, she looked around the room again, trying to find where it might be coming from. Just like last time, she wasn’t able to find anyone hiding in the darkness,

“Just a voice in the wind. Your nerves are getting the better of your Hermione. See what’s on it, and then focus on trying to find any other materials that could be of use.”

Some of the terms in it threw her for a loop. Other parts were easy to understand, while others went against everything she had learned at Hogwarts. Even creatures she had never seen or heard before were in it. Some words were underlined, leading to a link as if it was part of a webpage. The more Hermione read, the more her curiosity and disbelief grew.

“It’s like its referring to a different magical system entirely, but that can’t be right.”

It was rubbish. Why wouldn’t the professors tell them about this different magical system if it existed? It wasn't like it was a big secret on this side of the world. At first, Hermione wanted to deny every little tidbit of the book, but the fact this was here meant it had to have some reality to it.

“It’s all so fascinating.”

“Yeah it is all pretty cool to see isn’t it.”

Again she looked around the room, wand drawn to cast a spell at her watcher. However, unlike before, she noticed someone else in the room with her this time.

The person was a young lady who looked a little older than her, with long, flowing blonde hair tied up in twin tails. A dark gray neck choker, opera gloves, and a cape-like gown held together by two strings around her neck that mainly covers her chest. She wore a black mini-skirt with a brown belt, stockings, and black thigh-high boots. Her body was see-through, allowing Hermione to see the shelves behind her.

Hermione blushed at the state of her attire. Yet what caught her attention the most was her voice.

“You…you’re the voice I heard before!”

“Yeah, the moment you touched my Grimoire, it sorta brought me here and woke me up from my nap.”

“Your nap? Were you a student at Hogwarts?”

“No, this is the first time I heard the name of this place. My name is Lieselotte, but you can call me Liese."

“Oh, you mentioned a grimoire, but I haven’t touched one since I got here.”

“No, you’re holding it in your hand.”

“What but, this can’t be a grimoire. This is a tablet.”

“Well its what I used for all of my spells so it’s my Grimore.”

“I didn’t see anything related to spells while I was reading.”

“It's in another folder. Here I’ll show you where they are.”

Hermione followed her instructions and went to another page. All of the spells she could find were ones she had never heard of. Next to the name of her abilities was an explanation of how to cast them and what they did.

“Could you tell me if I can cast them or what I’m doing wrong?”

Lieselotte studied Hermione as she tried to cast the spell with her wand again. Much like last time, she only got a slight fizzle at best. Hermione’s frustration boiled with every failed attempt. No matter how hard she tried to make it happen, the spell refused to form.

“Come on, maybe if I tried this.” Hermione put more thought and emotion into her spell work, hoping this time it would be enough to break whatever barrier was preventing her from casting her magic, but nothing changed.

“You shouldn’t need your wand for this.”

“What? But then, how would I perform your magic?”

“From what I can tell, it’s a lot easier for you to use your magic when you have your want since its acts like a focus. I don’t think I would be able to teach you. If my theory is correct, our magical powers are just too different. Your magic is set in your ways with how you were trained. Trying to do mine, would be going against your bodies instincts when it comes to using it.”

Hermione looked away as if she had just been slapped. All of the hope she had vanished in the air like ash.

“There might be another way to do it, but I wouldn’t recommend doing it without a good reason.”

“What is it?”

“Well…the two of us could merge together. Thus it would give you the ability to use my magic and my skills, but it would change your body as well as a side effect.”

Hermione paused. All of the eagerness she had disappeared as her words bounced in her head. Still, the tablet in her hands filled her with hope. All of the spells and secrets it had inside. ‘Does Voldemort even know a fifth of the information inside?

“Why do you want to learn how to use my magic. Seems like there’s a little more to it, then what is going on if you catch my meaning.”

Her mind went over all her time at Hogwarts but focused on Harry. The second year of Hogwarts came, her petrified and unable to do anything while Harry and Ron dealt with Tom Riddle’s diary. Only when it was all over was she cured and could see Harry’s injured state. Tears had welled in her eyes, wondering what might have happened if that had been the last time she had seen Harry.

‘That had been the moment, where I started to fall for you Harry. I had so much I wanted to say but I couldn't bring myself to say anything, but not this time. This time I will everything I can to ensure you get through this in one piece.’

“Oh looks like you got it bad for a special someone.”

Lieselotte’s words broke through Hermione’s train of thought. Immediately a dark blush formed on her face as she struggled to keep calm. “I need to because no one else with power seems to be taking this seriously, and they want us to be helpless.”

Hermione told her everything. How the ministry was stifling their growth, how they had sent someone here to monitor and control everything. That those serving Voldemort were running around and influencing things further. How the only ones capable of helping them were being forced to do nothing and even going so far as to hurt those that disagreed with brutal punishments.

Lieselotte’s expression became serious. Any sense of the playful attitude she had before vanished. Controlled fury radiated off her as the cold air warmed.

“I can see why you would be willing to go so far with how stupid your ministry is right now. Can’t believe they’re just letting a dark wizard with a kill count just roam around doing as he pleases. That is only going to lead to more people dying.”

“Trust me, I know, but they don’t want to listen. They just want to pretend everything is fine.”

“Still, are you sure about this? Once we do this, there is no going back from it.”

Again the thought of Harry going through another crazy year came to her mind. It was so easy to imagine him getting hurt again that it made her frown. The grip on the tablet tightened, her knuckles turning white.

“Let’s do it.”

“Are you sure?”

“If I can help Harry then I want to do it. He’s gone through to much, and there is so much uncertainty that we need every advantage we can get. So that’s why I’m going to agree with this.”

“Alright then. If you’re that certain, I won’t try and stop you. Just pour your magic into my tablet and that will begin the process.”

Hermione did as she was told, bracing herself as much as possible. The tablet in Hermione’s hands glowed again. Unlike before, Hermione’s grip tightened on it. Power flowed into her body, but she didn’t let go. A grin formed on her face as she imagined performing the spells. It washed over her like a wave, making her breathe out.

Hermione’s chocolate brown locks brightened, gaining specks of gold. With every bit of strength she could muster, she stopped herself from doing anything. All of the curls had diminished as they grew. They tickled the small of her back as they continued to grow longer. It finished when it reached the end of her butt.

When it was over, any trace of her previous hair was gone. Now there were only the bright, straight golden locks of hair that continued to trail down her body until it reached the small of her back.

Hermione saw herself in the tablet and was shocked by her altered form. “I never imagined myself as a blonde.”

Even with the evidence in front of her, she found it hard to believe this was her hair. It seemed too good. With how it looked compared to the rest of her frame, it seemed like an expensive wig.

“Well, you are now. You’ll get used to it pretty quick. Though I think we can add a little more style to it, something to make it stand out a little more.”

The grimoire glowed. Hermione’s hair floated around. It curled and twisted around itself like a pair of coiling serpents. Two hair bands appeared, styling her hair into twin tails around the side of her head.

Hermione grabbed her new hair, frowning at how soft and delicate it seemed. Despite its delicateness, it weighed on her head.

“What’s wrong? You not dissing my hairstyle now are you?”

“No, it’s just…I never had my hair styled like this before in my life."

Well, just like anything else, you will feel familiar with it if you do it enough. Besides, if you’re this thrown off by the hair, trust me, we will look even more similar as things progress.”

Hermione looked over at Liselotte and tried to imagine herself with her frame. Insecurity went through her at the sight of the large bust she had and the prominent ass.

Lieselotte giggled. “Hey, you shouldn’t be jealous of my looks. You’ll be getting them in time. Especially my curves.”

“I wasn’t…I was just…”

More heat overcame her face. As if someone was pulling on her cheeks, she could feel them stretch. Even the bottom of her chin was forced to adjust to the changes happening to her as it gained a rounder form. Gone were her original looks. Now Liese’s face stared back at her. Even though she did not care much about her appearance, her new looks stunned her. ‘I look. I look so….’

“Feel free to take your time and enjoy it. We're pretty and we got to own it."

“It’s weird seeing someone else in my reflection instead of myself. It’s almost as if I have drank a Polyjuice potion.”

Hermione noticed Lieselotte’s spiritual form was more ephemeral. It was as if she was a mirage. “Lieselotte, are you alright?”

“I’m fine. I just feel a pull now. To be honest, I’m more than alright. I can feel things again. It’s faint, but I can!”

The jubilation she exuded made Hermione relax and smile. Her gnawing anxiety eased. “Well, I hope things get a little better.”

“Hey you’re the one going through the weirder thighs considering your body will be the one changing. It must feel a lot weirder for you then it will for me.”

“Well it’s a little weird, but it could be worse.”

Hermione again looked over Lieselotte’s body and compared how different their forms were. Now it was as if she was looking at an older sister with how far her body had come.

Lieselotte giggled. “It’s because I got a nice curvy body isn’t it?”

Hermione sputtered as she tried to think of something to say. Another assault overcame her body. A sudden heat overcame her, and her lungs felt like someone was scratching them. With every labored breath, it became harder to do so, even when she pulled on the collar of her shirt.

“Now just breath, relax, and take it step by step. Brace yourself for the next part and try to take some small bits of enjoyment while you can.”

Hermione bit her lip, the assault on her face becoming more pleasing as the seconds passed. “I…I can’t…what if someone sees me.”

In truth, it was her body which was getting taller. Tightness came through her clothes as she struggled to adapt. Hermione pulled her clothes down and tried to adjust for the change to her frame, but it proved to be fruitless.

With every passing second, her clothes dug deeper into every curve of her body. Even her crotch wasn’t spared, and she was forced to handle it as best she could. The button of her clothes felt like they would burst off their body, and the seams would snap if she tried anything daring.

“This is going to make getting back…troublesome.”

“Don’t worry I got a spell to help for that. Once it’s done then we can just use it on your clothes and poof, they will be nice and comfy.”

“Can we speed this up then. I don’t know if my butt or my crotch is suffering more right now.”

“Everything comes at its own pace and this is no different. You can’t rush this sort of stuff, or else you pay the price. You know that is how magic works.”

Pressure overcame Hermione's feet as if something was trying to crush them. No matter how hard she pleaded for the pain to cease, it only worsened. Hermione leaned against one of the bookcases and struggled to pull off her shoes. The top of her footwear scraped against the soles and top of her feet, making her wince at how her struggling footwear dug into them.

When she finally managed to pull them off, Hermione immediately noticed her feet were a little larger. They maintained their feminine appearance, but now they were far too big for her shoes.

“I’m going to need to use a spell to fix these.”

Yet there was no respite for her as the assault on her legs continued. It was as if someone was massaging them, caressing every part of them. Hermione leaned against the display case, making sure to use it as she explored her body. Slight muscle poked through her calves as they strengthened, making her jaw drop.

With her lower legs finished, her gaze went to her thighs as they swelled. The straining seams of her pants snapped, no longer able to support the pressure on them.

The snap of her hips made her stumble momentarily as if she had slipped on. She grabbed the table, struggling to keep herself standing. Popping noises kept coming from her lower body. With every pop, the width of her hips kept widening. Ripping noises came from her pans as the seams gave away, no longer able to support the changes happening to her body.

Hermione ran her hands down her broader hips, unsure what to make of them. With how wide they were now, it would be easy to use them as handhelds. A delightful thrum came from her as she massaged them, which she couldn't ignore.

Liese laughed. “You know there is more stuff coming right? You shouldn’t just focus so much on your hips.”

“Sorry. I just couldn’t help myself.”

“I get you. You’ll be knocking people when this is over. And I’m sure that boy you love will go crazy for you too.”

Hermione’s waist thinned. The slenderness of her midsection became more apparent with every passing second. It was as if someone was running their hands down the sides of her waist. She brought her hands up and traced them just like with her hips.

The sides of her top hugged her body as it continued to get smaller. With every brush of her digits, the imaginary hands running across her body weakened. Despite how much they diminished, the growing euphoria was enough to make up the difference for it. ‘It’s almost like they are letting me take the reins for this part.’

When the other imaginary fingers disappeared and Hermione’s had taken over completely, she noticed her waist was no longer changing. Still, a slight tingle from her new hips and fingers made it hard to pull her fingers away. With a deep breath, she ignored the call that demanded she play with them again.

Hermione examined her waist. Before, it had a nice trim appearance, but now it looked as if her waist had lost half of its original size. Her fingers went in less than they did just a short while ago.

“I look almost like I could be a model.”

“Well what do you expect when you’re getting a body like mine. There aren’t too many out there who can compare naturally anyway.”

Hermione blushed and looked back down at her chest. Despite all that had changed, it was still its original size.

“I put a lot of work into making sure my body was as fit as possible. This was no exception. Sure you can rely on your spell work, but that will only get you so far.”

Hermione watched as the muscles in her arms became more defined. Despite their newfound definition, they maintained their trim slender appearance. Even her biceps gained a little more meaning to them.

“I suppose you're right. I never considered how it might play a role in a fight before.”

“It’s fine. With how useful magic can be, its easy to forget how much of a role, a person’s body can play in a fight.”

“Now then it shouldn’t be much longer with how far along you are.”

Hermione looked at Lieselotte and noticed how much more ephemeral her appearance was now. Her spectral visage became more see-through, looking like a mirage than a ghost.

Lieselotte wiggled her fingers. “I keep feeling more. It has been so long since I have been able to feel anything.”

“Do you think you could tell me what might be the next thing to change?”

“No, I’m just as lost as you are on it, but you can’t deny this seems to have been a little fun for you.”

Another surge of heat went through Hermione’s body. She took a deep breath as it settled on her breasts, bracing herself for what would come.

Seconds later, Hermione’s small bust expanded, pushing her shirt out, exposing more cleavage. With their increasing weight, she was forced to adjust her posture for their new form. Yet it did little to provide her any comfort. Her bra strained against her ballooning bosom. The clip of it dug into her back and roughly scratched it. Before it could worsen, she managed to undo it, causing her breasts to bounce from the sudden freedom. Hermione couldn’t take her eyes off her ballooning bust. One of her hands cupped her underboob, the flesh escaping between her fingers.

“How much longer is this going to take?”

“Well you have a comparison right in front of you. Just look at me and you can see how much more you gotta go through before it's done.”

Hermione’s eyes kept darting between Lieselotte’s and her own. It wouldn’t be much longer before they were the same size. With every new centimeter, they weighed a little heavier. Yet never once did they lose their relaxed shape. They finished growing when they had become a large DD-cup to rival ripe apples.

Hermione grabbed her engorged bosom and hefted her new bust. They pulled on her back and settled into a natural tear-drop-shaped perkiness. “They are so…big.”

“You’ll come to enjoy having a large bust like yours, trust me. There's so much fun to be had with them, and they will help get the attention of boys you like.”

Hermione didn’t respond, too focused on her boobs to think of anything else to say. Yet her face darkened further at the thought of Harry staring at her new bosom. She tried to recall if someone else had a bust to rival hers, but she couldn’t. A playful giggle came out. “Harry is going to adore getting a look at these girls.”

Again her pants tightened further around her body, making her wince. The already straining seams of her clothes felt like they were trying to strangle the life out of her lower body with little results. Every part of them dug tighter into her body. It was as if someone was roughly cupping her behind and crotch.

RIP! POP!

The back of her pants tore in half, no longer able to stop the growing ass flesh she had. Cold air brushed against her buttocks, making her quiver. The button on the front of her pants went flying, no longer able to remain. Her pants zipper crawled down, exposing some of her struggling underwear.

A headache came over her right as Lieselotte disappeared.

Liselotte's name resounded through her head as if it was on a loop. Their personalities merge into one being. Memories of the past few years altered due to it, from some events changing in small ways to others becoming drastically different. As far as the rest of the world is concerned, she had always been in this world.

“Oh dear. It’s finally over.”

For a moment, she was thrown off by the differences in her body. Lieselotte grabbed the tablet and raised it. Through a combination of their magic, they could transform her ruined clothes.

Immediately all of the colors on them disappeared as black consumed every bit of their original color. Some of the fabric wrapped around Liese’s neck formed a black choker. The sleeves of her shirt broke off and transformed into opera gloves while the rest changed into a cape-like gown held together by two strings around her neck that mostly covered her chest. While her pants legs turned into stockings and black thigh-high boots, the uppermost portion of her pants formed into a black mini skirt with a brown belt.

“And now we know for sure that my magic works as it should, the next time Voldemort or one of his goons try something, then they will be in for a rude surprise.” A sadistic giggle came from her as she imagined their shock. “Now then, let’s go see Harry. I think it's time to stake my claim before anyone else does.”

She rushed out of the room and headed to the Gryffindor Common Room, mindful to avoid detection. Even if she could blow away any threats to the ministry, Umbridge, or anything else that came her way, she didn't want to deal with that annoyance if she could help it.

“I have to tell Harry how I’m feeling. Sorry Ginny, but now I’m the one who going to come out on top and win Harry’s heart.” The thought of how Harry might react made her laugh. “If I need to use a little more persuasion then I’m sure with my new body I’ll be more than able to wrap him around my fingers.”

Before the end of this school year, she would make Harry hers and ensure everyone understood it, even if she had to show them why she shouldn't be messed with.
