Loid smiled as he followed Anya and Yor. Another successful mission was done; despite the insanity involved with his new life, he would be lying if he said he didn’t enjoy it. Anya had proven to be a good, relaxing child, and Yor, had proven herself to be a wonderful woman.

Suddenly another random passerby got his attention. He performed a series of gestures just out of sight. To most, it would have looked like a random spasm with his hand, but to Loid, it was a secret encoded message telling him where to pick up his next mission.

Loid sighed. “Never a dull moment in the spy game or family life.”

He took a moment to look at his family and then broke off to check the drop-off. The directions led him to a small little shop. He entered the shop and went to the history section. His eyes roamed the shelves until they landed on a green book about Ostania.

Loid looked over the information he had been given, quickly committing it to memory. Once it had been burned into his brain, he tore it up. He made his way to the door, ready to begin the next part of his mission.

Loid’s body stilled. The grip on his bag tightened. His eyes darted around, looking for the person focused on him. In the crowd, he faintly noticed  _______ staring at him.
