Carol was jolted awake by the strongest cramp she'd ever felt. It was startling and made her heart race. In a panic she felt beside her for her girlfriend, Susan, but found the spot beside her empty. 'Maybe she's in the bathroom?' Carol wondered. She looked down over her body. The cramp wasn't letting up and her body was visibly shaking. She tried to scream, but no sound came out.

Suddenly without warning her legs stiffened and she found it impossible to move them. Then they started moving together of their own volition, pushing together and even fusing into one another. Carol stared in horror as her left leg completely disappeared into the right with loud slurps and cracks. Her one and only remaining leg thickened, the muscles bulking up and looking much more toned. Her heart was racing and it almost felt like a truck had slammed into her left side. Even her left arm stuck to her now narrowing torso and pushed into it, completely disappearing as well. In response her right arm bulked up and grew thicker much like her right leg had done. "I know. I know. Merging with you is better than being just half a woman,” Carol said looking at her new body. Her heart was racing again and her breath was coming in shallow gasps. Being half a woman made it hard to breathe properly.

Carol's head was swimming, but Susan's words made sense. She had only ever wanted to be with her girlfriend, and being fused with someone she loved wouldn't be so bad. It was several hours later when they woke up. Memories flooded back of all that had happened, and the new being immediately got up to look in the mirror and take in her new form.
