Dear Ms. Jessica,

I’m curious about mutants that only have hands. How do they walk? The same goes for mutants without feet? How do they live their lives and do their work?

Well, some mutants have foot/hands or hand/feet that accomplish both tasks at once, but for the ones who don’t, this is actually a fairly simple question to answer.

They manage. There are non-mutant humans out there without hands or without feet that live their lives just fine. Mutants do the same. There are many ways to interact with the world without hands, and there are plenty of ways to get around without feet.

If a mutant has limbs where their feet would be, they can usually use those limbs to walk around somehow, even if they are hands. They might need special footwear, harnesses, or prosthetics, but they will make do. Not to mention, there are wheel chairs and other methods of locomotion that mutants can take advantage of.

And mutants with no hands will usually have some sort of limb that they can grab things with, and if they don’t then they will manage the way other humans do. They will use their feet, prosthetics, or other devices to live their lives.

The only reason mutants can exist in the first place is because the human race is incredibly adaptable. No matter what forms our bodies may take, we find a way to live, thrive, and prosper.
