Love the start to finish videos I think I speak for a lot of people when I say it really helps. Also would you ever consider releasing ship assets like the phaeton or a start to finish making it

Guy turns into a light streak wielding a guitar, flips into the air, runs up a building to smash another guy, breaks the floor inside some building the camera flys down with them breaking each floor... then Ian says: "the only thing to really note are the light trails"? Very modest lol Give the Pateons some spoil :) I like spoils

Ian, I'm just getting ready to do a bunch of scanning of 3 to 5 story city buildings for a short I'm working on. I know you've probably said this a thousand times but what would you suggest I use for capturing them?

Every time I get fed up with my very sluggish Blender learning process, another Ian Hubert video comes along to reignite the fire. Your teaching style is so awesome. Please enlighten us some more!

Do you ever use an Empty as a Focus point or to direct camera movement? I started to use it as the cameras focus so I can do rack focusing, but then I realized o can use it as a track too so I can duplicate a motion then offset it with noise to give the camera that “reacting to the movement look”

Hey @Ian so for years I have been trying to understand your workflow from Blender to a grading software. I know you did a video talking about gamma curves and other stuff but can you do a video where you talk about your grading and colouring techniques? I know that some of them are not a free softwares but with Blender filmic colour space I really struggle to get nice colours. I know ACES has some ways of working with DaVinci Resolve... but anyways I hope you do put a video out talking about this one day :)

Ian a little trick from games stuff for those patches (like the gravel and the rocks) - using a big soft proportional editing hand, grab the middle and pull it into a little mound shape; then you can more easily have detail poking out of places and clipping through rocks and so on without the edge seam showing, cause it drops off to underneath the thing you're clipping it through. Can save needing to pull in trim bits.

Hey, Ian. That was so sick I had to wipe my monitor for fear of infection. Any chance of a tutorial for any part of the spoiler?
