Personal Update - Leg is Much Better! (Patreon)

This morning I got the staples removed from my leg which mostly brings this whole surgery thing to a close. The difference is unbelievable! My leg was already feeling better after having the plate removed; the chronic pain was gone. Now that it's almost back to normal the improvement is a lot more apparent. I was crying on the way home because how much it felt like it was this huge weight lifted. ;v;

I kind of wish I hadn't waited so long, but with chronic pain like that you tend to downplay it and don't realize how bad it can get. I'm just so glad it was something I was able to have fixed and that the procedure was such a success.

I do still have a bit of the nerve pain, but it also feels like it improved too. It'll likely take a few weeks or months to really determine if the surgery helped that directly or just alleviated some symptoms but wasn't the cause... but I'm optimistic that it'll at least be less of a problem. I still have to take it easy on that leg for a few weeks yet, but for the most part I'm getting around just fine and I'll be able to start going to the gym again next week.

As for the allergies, all of that was kind of put on hold until I got through this surgery. I'm having skin patch testing done over next weekend and we'll see if that provides any other answers.

Next week I want to work ahead again on the next few comic pages and then get back to some 3D work in April.
