Because of reasons, I am not able to take my own guns to Lynx Brutality in Slovenia this summer (I didn't last year either...). So the question is, what should I shoot? The SKS would be a real challenge, and would also potentially let me compare performance to some folks rolling modern bolt action rifles. The Perun X16 would be a pretty uncommon modern style rifle, and undoubtedly let me do better in the match overall. Which would you prefer to see?

I saw the Perun X16 because it's different, and not as well known and recognized. So I think people would be really interested in seeing - both on the channel and at the event.

Only if the sks has run through the tapco catalog

I was really torn; I've got a Yugo SKS though, so not much new to learn... And I really want to try a Perun (But not the 16, the X17- Perun's version of AR 10. And not 7 62, a build in that 6.5 caliber everyone loves to hate. Because, I'm just that way).

I feel you’ll actually do pretty well with the SKS.

SKS I haven't seen you compete with an obsolescent rifle in awhile

Russian SKS was my first rifle I would love seeing Ian compete with one

I voted Perun because I don't know much about them so it would be interesting. I've tried to compete with SKS in 3- gun and while it's entertaining, I don't know that I'd call it fun.

SKS please.

Do the SKS to illustrate the difference between obsolete and obsolescence

I'd love to see you run the SKS. If I could afford to buy another firearm it would be very high on my list, conditional to availability.

SKS. Run the Kasarta drill with the bayonet extended and poke it in the ground when you need to toss the kettlebell. It also makes a good monopod.

GM6 Lynx?

Guido Schriewer

sks. love mine. maybe with a tok or vz52 pistol? or a makarov. stetchkin for extra rare points?

Bruce Brodnax

Show everyone just what a detriment the !@#$%#@ stripper clip loading on an skS [note proper capitalization!] actually is...

Bruce Brodnax

TT33 or variant; the skS had already been replaced by the AK47 by the time the Mak or anything else chambered in its ammo came along...

Den

skS has aesthetics.

Patrick Yamada

I'd like to see you shoot the Perun. I and every other Bubba around here has an SKS, but I doubt any of us Bubbas have a Perun.

Or a VZ-52

Reed Gregory

I agree with Patrick, shoot the Perun.it’s more modern and I want to see the short comings

Nyet. SKS is fine.

Ian, I am really starting to think the majority of your Patrons secretly hate you...
