I won’t try to change your mind about Hawk, because I parasocially love you and can respect the difference in opinion. 😊💜 This episode might make me the saddest despite everything, because of all the parallels I see to now, in the U.S. anyway. I understand you not getting Marcus’s initial caution, but he was right about many things he said. I can’t imagine trying to fight the good fight while being black and going through everything he and Frankie experienced. Hell, a public university ended their entire diversity department because of new state laws. In 2024. And that’s what some people want across the U.S. Don’t say gay, don’t acknowledge real history, don’t listen to voices of marginalized communities. This series keeps giving me things to think and worry about no matter how many times I watch it. Anyhoo! Take care of yourself. 💜 YR S3 around the corner!
