Nimona has been a film I have wanted to watch for a hot minute and since Netflix decided to release the full film on YouTube a day ago, I took that as a sign to sit down and finally watch it. And damn, I'm so glad I did. It has easily become one of my favourite animated films... scracth that, FILMS, ever! The characters, the animation, the comedy, the story telling, the world building, the QUEERNESS!! It ticks every single box for what I require in a film. WOW WOW WOW!!!! Plus, it made me SOB!!!! I'm obsessed!
