"It just isn't easy...I'm so conflicted about everything" - I feel like this really sums up the experience of watching YR ! Though for me I'd have to add in the absolute BLISS of watching our 2 mains so in love with each other, even when things are as tough as they are. I agree completely that the beauty of this show is the complexity of its' characters and how no one is truly all good or bad (with the exception maybe of Vincent who is just the worst??) You do find yourself disagreeing with the actions of the characters you root for and sympathizing with characters who have done what you might consider irredeemable things. Conflicting, for sure! But as you said, so very human, and real. It's really quite remarkable how a show centered around a prince, which is a lived experience almost no one can relate to, has managed to depict human experiences more authentically than any other I can think of. This show is brilliant and I can't wait to see how it ends. 💜
