Clover is all over the place.  And if you have nothing better to do, it's relaxing to sit on the ground and browse for four-leaf clovers.  I have found over sixty of them, until the owners started mowing on a regular basis.  And a fire destroyed the ones I had picked.  But a few are still out there with people.  Dave and I used to walk to the local store and buy picture frames for the glass and decorative paper, and then make clover books for people, like the one below.

It says 'always luck around you'.

Here's the secret:  if you find one, there are usually many in the same area.  That's because they're plant mutations.  It means that you have found the right patch, whether it's chemicals or the conditions, you can expect more to grow.  And clovers can grow more than four leaves, even five or six, although the extra leaves are usually smaller.  Sometimes you can find 3 1/2 leaf clovers.  Find one, you can expect to find many, on repeat.

Shamrocks are a type of clover that look like a heart, and it's much harder to find a four-leaf, but they are real and out there.  

So when searching for clovers, always luck around you.
