I'm guessing that this means Yiffy is textually as much a product of Hussie's influence as she is IRL (since she's one of the few aspects of his HS^2 outline he declared non-negotiable), and if that is correct then...fucking cool. This whole update was so ominous like goddamn.

Yeah cause I went back through the epilouge (again) and there are several references to the possible existence of Yiffy or sealed holes prior to how things would happen down the line.

theory is that yiffy might be mary sue coded... thing is a lot of characters have these traits, including JAde and Dirk. But it means that she is a threat if she is meant to be used against him and he doesn't have narrative control of that situation.

I kind of figured Dirk was more like the self-insert, with the epilogues being a kind of metaphor about what people wanted homestuck to be vs what it really is, but yiffy being a mary sue is a very interesting theory

Apparently I hit the perfect timing to finish Pesterquest^^. I see Yiffany as something Callie would come up with. Candy-Earth C is kinda her wish fulfillment after all...
