Alpina B7 is Dead, AGAIN - Project Chicago: Part 8 (Patreon)
Content
Here is the aftermath.
Sadly, that beautiful engine didn't last long. Why and how are explained in the video.
I'm not mad or upset, just disappointed cause a ton of time and money went into it. Yet another hard lesson learned, but here you can see the main reason why I try to do everything myself and not rely on someone else.
Since filming the outro, I pretty much changed my mind about sending the block back to Nenad. If he hasn't done it right the first time, he'll do it right the second time? I just can't take that risk, go through all of this again and be scared whether it's going to last or not. He simply lost my trust.
The new/used engine is on its way from Poland, should be here sometime next week. I'll immediately inspect it and then will know the future of the troublesome Alpina B7.
I'll post in the upcoming days the new project, it's a car that I bought for my girlfriend. Hint: it's a space gray exterior over natural brown (nevada"/sattelbraun) interior.
We also had a lot more Patreon's joining lately and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! For your generous support and kind words throughout everything. We built an amazing community here.
If you messaged me, I want to apologize for not answering. I'm way behind on messages on every platform, but I'll do my best to get back to you.
Love you all!
