Welcome to a rather fascinating episode!

Where do I even start here? Grab snacks and get comfy while we tour this place and touch cars that haven't been touched in 20, 30 years.

Fernando, the guy in the video that's giving us a tour of this crazy place, wrote to me back in December. After seeing pictures, it was clear as day I had to go film and explore this place!

Took us a whole day to see everything in this captivating place. It was properly fun and interesting and I hope the video translates that way as well.

The owner of this place is an interesting person. He started BMW dealership in Tarragona back in 1970s, he had several locations and this is one of them. Everything you see in this video is his. Fernando is working for him and helping him to sell cars and parts.

Even though I have more than enough projects, I couldn't resist but be really interested in rescuing a few of these cars. Unfortunately, the owner is not in touch with reality when it comes to pricing them. He thinks all of the cars are in excellent condition, just need a wash, fresh fuel and they are good to go.

Cars that I'm interested in:

Crashed E28 M5 - I know I can save this rare beast, but he thinks he has gold here and he won't let this car go for what it's actually worth.

E23 735i 5-speed - would love to revive this after it's been sitting for 20 plus years, sadly asking price doesn't make sense

E3 2.8L - kinda, but not really. Overpriced.

And now two that might surprise you:
Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2.0i - this one really sparked something in me and I'm (was) determined to rescue it. These models restored go for around 7k, in good condition around 4k. So I thought 2k ought to do it for one that's been sitting for 26 years and needs everything.
Well wrong, the owner thinks it's worth between 5 and 10k.

Alfa Romeo GTV6 - I went to have a 2nd look off camera and this car is really rough. It's been sitting over 30 years, it has rust, paint is not good, parts missing around the engine... huge project, but I wanted to challenge myself cause that V6 Busso engine is something special. I still don't know the exact asking price on this one, but given everything else, it won't make sense.

All in all, I don't think I'll be rescuing any cars from there. Trying to argue or reason with the guy is a fool's errand. There were 4 guys before Fernando that couldn't work with the guy and they just left. Fernando has patience, but it's very difficult to work with him.

Anyway, I do hope that you enjoy this video. I'm now starting Alpina B7 engine reassembly and I'll post updates here as I go! Cheers!
