Part 5 of project Marbais has landed!

The beautiful E30 is roadworthy again! But it wasn't a pass from the first, more on that in the video.

We also have an old friend make an appearance. Felix, a young upholsterer from Ranstadt is showing us how to rewrap M-Tech 1 steering wheel with new leather.

I'm so happy how this car is progressing. There will be one more final episode on this project (for now) where we are going to detail the paint and interior. After that, time to hit the road!
I'm going to pick up the license plates tomorrow actually.

At one point, Michel and Sebastien will come for a visit so Michel can reunite with his E30 and drive it!

Fixing cars and making friends on the way, way to go Sreten! Hope you can organize a Nurnburgring meet and greet sometime.

Well done on getting it through the inspection…also enjoyed the steering wheel re-trim, another craftsman at work 👌🏻

I wonder what you put on the license plate. U.S customized plates are wayyyy more expensive.

excellent stuff! Big 'ol Sret-in-a-box!

Ohio charges an extra $50 (€42) to the regular renewal fee.

Another excellent vid! Love to see all the progress you're making! I hear ya' on the brake fluid, but for me the worst is ATF. The smell is just horrendous!

Oh, yes I second that. Would be nice! Sreten is kind of the reason I decided to bite the bullet and buy my dreamcar: the E39 M5.

Lovely. Especially the especially the "engine failure". Is there any reason for you to refurbish the old distributor (e.g. as a future backup)? Are they even repairable?

So cool that Jason Camissa gave you tips, must have been a surprise when he reached out to you! Also, I noticed a lot of Youtubers have hired editors, is that something you would ever consider? Or do you think they wouldn't be able to capture your editing style and feel?

Yes, it's possible to overhaul it but I didn't have time to mess with it and new one was cheap enough. I left the old one on the shelf to fix one day.

He's a super nice guy, we actually got in touch long before I got the E30. I wish I could hire one as well, but in the end, I have to cut and decide what's relevant to the video as I talk plenty when I work and some of it just isn't relevant. Then I need to do a voice-over and also uploading videos to the editor would take ages with German internat. In the end, it just would save time but maybe one day if I can find someone that I really click with.
