Part 4 of project Raleigh is here! The nasty interior is finally cleaned up and some bits refreshed.

The E60 is now ready for the inspection and in the next episode, I'm taking it to TUV and if all goes well, this beast will fly down the Autobahn very soon. Can't wait!

Also, on Friday I'm flying to Skovde to see that M car!

Definitely there was a pet in that car,can see the fur stuck to the panels (unless the previous owner was some very hairy person) If you have the time to do so,please go to the Nordschleife and go for a drive with Misha, will be really awesome.

Nice job! And I wish you very welcome to Sweden! Pack a sweater because our spring is your winter ;) :D

Lovely work! Cleanliness is next to godliness as they say... And - I probably missed it but what is the M car in Sweden?

Are you going to film your trip to Sweden? :) Something similar like project Bilbao and Malaga?

Anonymous

Nice job! nitpicking, but Silver trim would suit the car better in my opinion.

Welcome to Sweden and Skövde (I live just 45 minutes away from Skovde). As Björn said, dont travel in just shorts and t-shirt. :)

finally a person who likes woodtrim in cars

The Colourlock stuff is great. I thought I'd try it after seeing the E46 seats episode. I bought some of their aniline leather cream for my couch and its been amazing. One of the few companies that seem to make an aniline-specific product. Will use it on my W108 seats after they get refinished, too.

Either the owner had a pet or was a Wookie. Or both.

Yes, to be honest, the main reason I'm going as I plan to buy the car regardless of the condition. :D

Thanks! For me, that would be too boring and plain as most of them have silver trim. I might look for a bit darker wood trim but I'll see.

I wish there was something like that for my e90 fabric sport seats... the black just degrades somehow after 10 years now. Well, and my daughter is giving them all there is to eat for a 6 Year old ;-) :-D

Beautifully done interior! I used the same cleaner-drill brush- extractor method on my project with similar results. The new steering wheel looks fantastic and the seats look perfect! Really enjoying this one and can’t wait for the first high speed run!

One more vote for wood trim. Carbon trim weight savings is laughable and just makes every sports car interior look the same. Totally overplayed in my book. Wood on the other hand is classy, and takes real craftsmanship to look the part in a nice car. There is no other trim that would look better apart from even nicer wood trim.

V10 E60 - Raleigh - from zero to hero! Much love from Poland! Thumbs up!

Sell it to me in the USA, please! Send her back home!

Very nice job, I'm really looking forward to the soft touch plastic treatment that you mentioned, I also have an E60 (not an M5 sadly, only a modest 530d) with the same problem and until now I didn't know there was a solution to that.

Once you run out of that carpet cleaning solution, pro tip you can then just use Greenstar to scrub the carpets and use just water in the bissel to extract.

Hi Sreten! May I get the BGM list of songs for this episode? I like the one in particular 21:20, with great retro feel! Thanks in advance!

Scott Sanford

I used my iPhone to identify it a while back from another video. It's Sing it Louder by Particle House. I sometimes play it while driving my F30 or E90. Is there anything more satisfying than watching Sreten turn a disgusting interior into a thing of beauty to this music? I don't think so. https://music.apple.com/us/album/sing-it-louder-instrumental-version/1505760732?i=1505760738

Thank you for not putting carbon fiber trim on this car. I went to a wrapping shop once and they told me we should put LEDs everywhere in the interior and wrap everything in carbon... That's a big NO NO for a car of this age I told them and they almost laughed... Well whatever they are not capable of understanding that OEM is MILLION times better. Loved the video.
