Yup, I did it again. Last week a very cheap E32 750iL popped for sale in Logroño, Spain. Complete, non-runner, parked since 2016 but the owner had it running recently with starter fluid as fuel pumps are dead. Being a Spanish car, it's rust-free and with a price tag of 900€, I pulled the trigger. I bought it mainly cause I'll need a lot of parts for project Karlsruhe and having a cheap parts car just makes sense. Also, all the good parts from the rusty E32 Highline can be transferred into this one as it should be rust-free if I decide to go down that route.

That being said, the car has papers and if the foundation is good for restoration, I'll just get it running and sell it to someone as a running & driving project for restoration. I won't have time for another restoration and I don't want to kill a classic BMW if it has good bones and it's saveable. It'll arrive in the 2nd half of May so we'll decide then!

Project Castellón has left Spain and should arrive in Frankfurt in the next few days. I'm so excited to see it!

In other news, there is some progress in the new workshop search. My landlords told me on Friday that I'll get more space in the complex where I am currently, but today they are singing a different song. I also have another alternative at the old Opel factory in Rüsselsheim. I'll share more details once I know everything 100%!

What were you guys up to when the alert for this post came up? I was browsing for used BMWs online! ☺️

"Fast and Nice" more like "Immobile and Nasty"

So strange seeing perfectly rust free cars in complete disarray :P I'm sure it could be a great project car for someone if you decide to fix some basics and sell it on

Anonymous

Fast and nice 😂

Who the hell put black wheels on a e32 😂

Great idea to revive the E32 Highline with the rust free shell... nothing wrong can happen there. Looking forward to see that E21

I hope you're able to get some bigger and better place soon! Imagine the amount of broken BMWs you could get!

Fast and Nice hehe

a good parts car

Moar BMW! Yes please! New purchase is more "broken & worn out" than "fast and nice" lol. On top of that those horrible rims! Good luck with workshop space! Your current landlords are playing up, tell them to get stuffed and move to old Opel factory :P Fingers crossed it will all work out!

You absolute mad lad .... is what would come to mind if I didn't know your work. And if I wouldn't contribute to it with some shillings. Honestly: For that price and what you can get out of it, it's a bargain. As long as you do have the space to store it? And transporting it from Spain to Frankfurt doesn't break the bank. With regards to the garage situation: Landlords are landlords ... unfortunately ... so I keep my fingers crossed for anything that comes up and suits you.

Sorry, but I can't stop looking at the white Fiat 131 on the right - a rare car, most of them dissolved faster than an indigestion tablet in water 😱 ETA: It's a 1600 so that would make it a Supermirafiori. Excellent.

Keep the good news coming 👍🏻

Nice! Waiting for the E60 tho... 😅😅😅

Anonymous

Funny isn't it? Those are the style 115 for E60, if I'm not mistaken.

Can't wait to see the "complete" E32 with all the good parts and good work from you!

Anonymous

I'm more excited for you to have more space to work in, honestly. lol

Is there also an M car that was mentioned in the last video?

Jose Martinez

This so that classic “when the immovable force, meets the unstoppable object.” Except in this case you’re both . Keep them coming Sreten, I can’t wait to see the finished products as you drive them down the Autobahn!

Hey Streten, just out of curiosity, what year is this car?

I just got myself a really rough E32, 750 iL from 88. Would you be interested in helping out with some tips and tricks?

So this car will never be on the channel :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoDLq_Ik3sI

Sadly no. I was planning to use it for parts, but most of the parts that I needed were destroyed. The only good thing about it is that's it rust-free. I didn't have time or desire to deal with it so I sold it to a friend.
