New episode of project Cologne has landed! In this installment, I retrofitted power-folding mirrors, power rear windows and Hi-Fi sound system. This was a ton of work, but quite happy I did it, folding mirrors and better speakers are really nice upgrades. Electric rear windows I'll likely use twice in 3 years, but at least no more ugly crank handle.

I'm currently busy working on E60 M5 which is rapidly draining my wallet, I'll make a post with some pics and details soon.

Streten this is a company I have used several times to repair a variety of speakers. They provide kits which include everything one needs to repair the degraded suspension on speakers. https://www.simplyspeakers.com/Our-Story_ep_7.html Good Luck

Who's your friend that comes to say hello at 23:40?

Love the retrofit stuff. You do pay attention to speaker polarity I take it ? Otherwise the bass goodness is badly affected. Brilliant work :)

Hmm, it is Part 8 but it says it is Part 7 ;-)

Hehe your music taste suits your place of residence. You need to start combining your Liqui Moly outfits with Modern Talking t-shirts for the full treatment :).

I ve never seen an oem stereo sounding better than Harman Kardon if my E61. Nice video, Sreten.

Repairing those speakers is "refoaming" you can buy replacement foam for the part that is disintegrating.

Waiting for a new video like it’s Christmas. I might have no life, but it’s COVID so same for everyone I guess.
