Hey everyone, its time for the mid month update, with this one other than the new character Roxy, i have been focusing on getting everything that needs to be added in to the game, this is things like characters to scenes, themed backgrounds for the rooms, still images and more audio. I hope you like the look of all the new stuff and ill do my best to explain it all.

Two New Characters (Roxy And Charlie)

So first with Roxy, for her i have tried to include a more interactive quest line with this one. Theres things to do, audio that plays and a little bit of animation stuff so i hope you like it. I have also managed to add her to all the scenes that Loona etc are also in which i think is about 12 in total. I haven't yet added her unique outfit to any scenes yet but my plan for it when i do is to have that as the animatronic part of her. This will be the metal plating on her arms and legs as well as her red top and shorts. For her audio i also tried to get a voice that matched hers and i think its pretty close so i hope you enjoy that :)

On to the next one, as you might have seen from the WIP post i have had to change the receptionist to the new character Charlie. I thought this would be a good opportunity to add a feature i've wanted to try for a while which as character you will be able to customise yourself. To start with it is just her Skin Tone and Hair Colour but in the next small features poll im going to add an option for a new hair style or accessories. One bug with her at the moment is her icons for selecting her don't update. This is because when i had them update they would clip in front of the scroll part so i thought id leave it until i can fix that bug. Anyway this is probably where some of the bugs will be while you update her preferences. I also plan to change the UI i bit to add the actual image of her so you can see how it looks directly on her instead of just the colour box.

Characters Added To Scenes

As Roxy got most of her scenes done i thought it would be fair to try and finish off the Marceline's scenes. While i was doing this i also added some more characters to both the B*SM scenes as those are the next ones i want to finish off. Like always ill keep adding characters to scenes they're not in each update so its just a matter of time until they are all done.

New Outfit Stuff

For the outfits this update it has been more than just adding new ones. I wanted to add some more opacity stuff the unique outfits in the D*ggy scene so for all the ones where it will work without causing texture issues you can now change the opacity for their unique outfits. I'm going to try and do this for the other scenes as well if its something you do like :)

On to the actual new outfits. The two outfits that got the most votes where some pretty big and complex ones so i only managed to do two but i will keep doing as many more as i can for the next update. Firstly the Succu outfit each part of it can be toggled on and off by it self, i have set up the broken armour one to be the same however i don't want to clutter the clothes tab with loads of options. This brings us onto my next idea for the clothes tab, what i would like to do is have drop downs for each category of items eg. Succu will have all it's parts, Unique Outfit will have all its parts etc. I will try this next update just with the D*ggy scene as thats the scene most in need of it but hopefully it goes the way i have it in my head.

New Backgrounds

The backgrounds this update were focused on getting all the themes done for the Double D*ldo scene which i did manage to do. I also made it so the rod fits with the theme and actually goes through a hole in the box which makes more sense. Now that i have done this i want to move onto a new theme for the house and i have a very cool one in mind, i wont say it yet but i might have a sketch of the house ready for the next WIP :D

Still Images

This was the main thing i was focusing on for this update as i thought one image wouldn't give me enough information on how much you like them so i did quite a few. If this does get received well i think i can get 2-3 done per update but let me know if you like how they look. I said before i can't animate in this way just because of how panted stuff takes longer and the way Unity compresses sprites.

Quick Explanation On The Unity Thing But You Don't Have To Read

So for an image there are pixels and each pixel is given a HEX code for the colour it is. For the painted image each pixel has a different colour pixel next to it even if its just slightly, this means a lot more data in one image which is fine for a still image but causes a lot of problems for animations (Ill show you what i mean in the next WIP as theres some things i found already in the game that have this issue that need fixing). Anyway the animations i have at the moment most of the Skin tone is the same colour so Unity can compress it very easily by basically guessing what the pixel next to another will be and not really have to store a separate HEX code. I thought you might find that interesting but don't worry if you didn't read it :)

Main point is i might be able to add slight warp animation to the still images, it wont be to the same level as the main animations but could provide a bit of motion but this is a big maybe as the main thing i need to keep secure is the RAM and CPU usage.
