Kemo Coliseum on SteamDeck (Patreon)

A quick batch of photos to show that Kemo Coliseum works on a steamdeck without an issue!

You might remember us working on upgrading our game's input system around last year. It was so that the game can support gamepad control, so that you can play the game on an Android phone with a gamepad or on a SteamDeck. The game being an adult game, I doubt we'll be able to release it on switch, but now that the game works on both android and steamdeck, you will still be able to play it on a handheld device! 😊

We'll still need to fine-tune the gamepad control, but since It's not high priority at the moment, I'll do it when I have time after other stuff are done.

I guess I was in the mindset that just because you don't see porn in the previews it doesn't mean it isn't there. After reading your explanation it does make more sense that it's probably not there at all. So you might be right about a switch release, cool in theory but logistically not practical. I Didn't know about not censoring physical copies though. At any rate I'm happy to support Kemo Coliseum however it's released. <3

That's how we showed the game at Kemoket! It's been so long, haha. Now there are controllers that can turn your android into something like a Nintendo switch so it'd be so cool to support something like that. - Punipen

I thought that the game was too big to play in the Steamdeck, but you've proved me wrong; it was just a matter of using the mouse to click the gems. Well, I don't have one so I can't complain.

Would this also opens up the possibility of cross-saving that the same gameplay data can be accessed on either pc or mobile? If so it'd be convenient to play the game both in-door and out-door whenever people want to. Some games like Robin Morningwood uses cloud data saving as well, would you explore on that some time in the future when pushing on mobile development with the game?

I'm definitely thinking about that but I think Robin Morningwood uses PlayFab which is a paid service so we'll see how much it would cost or if there's a free alternative. Steam probably has a cloud api of some sort that let you sync save files between devices, but then this won't work with Android but it's still better than not having one, I suppose. In any case, it's something that would be nice to have in the future. For now, I'll write it down as something to look into when we work on the mobile version of the game. - Punipen

I just got this game earlier this week and I'm blown away at how well made it is! Seriously I can't properly express how much I love it. Thank you for all the effort you and your team are putting into it and I hope it succeeds as much as possible! Also I want to add there are in fact erotic games on the switch not unlike Kemo, so if y'all are hesitant about approaching them I'd say try it anyway ^^

Thank you so much! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoy the game. We'll do our best to make sure that the rest of the game is fun to play as well and I hope you'll like what we have in store! NSFW games I've seen on Nintendo e-shop seem to be censored heavily or they have to avoid being a full blown porn and go with something sexy instead (Moero Chronicle for example), but after searching more about them on google, it seems like if it's a physical copy you don't have to censor it? It's so weird to think about but it'd be fun if the game can be on switch. It's a free game though, so if it's going to be on Switch I guess it'll have to be a limited physical release for collectors, which I'm not sure how practical that'll be. It's still something fun to think about! - Punipen
