PH - Serve Drinks on Tables (Patreon)

Here is another thing that always pissed me off: never be able to have sims drink and eat at the same time. To grab a drink they have to get up, go to the fridge, and back to the table... this makes family dinner impossible, unless you set up the table with drinks before they sit to eat. It struck me today that the "Set the Table" interaction from Parenthood could also be used to create and serve drinks on tables before sims start eating, and this mod is just that, it adds the interaction "serve drinks" to all tables you can set with parenthood, the sim will then go around the table and put drinks on it:

You can set the table with almost all the drinks in game (I left out the ones that only have the To Go cup and Batuu ones).

LIMITATIONS OF THIS SYSTEM:

1 - You can only serve one kind of drink for all the sitting spots at time, to serve different drinks you need to free the spot and serve again;

2 - Drinks cannot be paid on a singular drink basis, I tried, so you pay 75 to serve drinks on the table regardless of the type of drink.

3 - The sim will always fill all the spots that have a chair, the situation checks for the chair slot to be filled, so if you have two sims in the house but four sitting spots, the sims will always fill all the spots. 

Still better than dragging glasses of water out of the fridge or having the sims get up to grab one from the fridge every time.
