This month was a little heavily loaded for me, i'm big into growing my own vegetables and stuff, a mild little ~150 square meters piece of land is under my control all summer without and outside help you know... But the bulk of the work is done don't worry, from now it is more and more just watching how everything grows and back to some work on sexy stuff.

Also didn't help that i made a not so easy decision in early May, and dropped the 3d software i have been killing my nerves away for 15 years. It was 3DS Max if anybody is interested. A multiple thousand dollar 3d suite, and although considered to be an industry standard, if you ask me it is a pile of crap. This new one is called Blender, a freakin free software, and the two weeks i have spent with it thought me everything i was able to pull off with Max, and to be honest even more than that. Plus it seems it will handle lifelike rigging of my models, UNLIKE Max which constantly kept on freezing, driving me away from my 3d projects. Any necessary tools for clothing / liquids / whatever is also built in and integrated so well that it is unbelievable, especially compared to 3DS Max where every god damn cool feature is in the form of third party plugins, again costing hundreds if not thousands of bucks. DO NOT WORRY, i haven't spent a single cent of any of your donations on that, WAS in fact wondering if i ever get to use the software up to my needs and so i would decide to buy the whole thing, but 15 years wasn't enough to convince me that it would be worth it. In fact it convinced me on the total opposite.

So i'm in this utter refreshed mood for 3d, --- just as i was almost a decade ago before said crappy program broke my spirit, --- and i want to once again give a shot to modelling all the major chicks i've been drawing recently, and Sonic / Tails / Knuckles / Shadow of the guys for sure. Then we'll see if i get into grips enough with rigging these models / the rendering settings of Blender to more or less replace my hand drawn material completely, or if i'm gonna steer myself back to the rotoscopy idea. (for anybody who didn't pay attention back then or simply doesn't understand the term, rotoscopy would mean hand drawing but with tracing these models for a more consistent look)

The coming couple weeks, through WIPs like this, will bring all their head models in this freshly sculpted look. First i want to finish those, then we can say what's next. While i'm not really showing much life, i'm most certainly learning the new software in the background, that's all. Sometimes here and there i'm gonna try to share some fun test sequences of how my clothing / liquids / booby physics knowledge is going.
