I'd like to show you my last "work in progress" for DOOM Eternal:
I focused to get a even more credible RT effect both on direct lights and indirect lights ( Global illumination ) using also dedicated personal Shaders.
Moreover, I used RTGI that makes avery lights source and relative shadows more real , but also adding many more Filmic effects, and better Reflections using also the "RT Beta Shader" from Pascal Glitcher. How it works: https://80.lv/articles/ssrtgi-toughes...
Thanks to the use of "RTgi" and "Ambient Occlusion" I created new Realistic lights and shadows around the objects of the entire screen. I tried also to improve the "Tessellation" of some grounds and some rocks.
You can instantly find better Details, new realistic Reflections, sharper textures, better sense of depth.
As my signature there is an high quality Color Grading and many more Filmic Effects like the Gaussian Blur that give the last Photorealistic touch!
I also found a way to improve the "Fur": the result it's very close to "Nvidia Hairworks" technology, you can find it in the opening scene.
After comparison you can find Gameplay at 2:05 and 3:45 "Phobos" level with all the RT effects. I hope you like it! : )
