So you guys must've gotten the bad subtitles b4. "Shiroyasha" literally translates to the White Demon. Some bad subtitles had it translated into White Knight, but that's all sorts of wrong for his nickname.

But going from movie animation back to normal animation would be jarring? for the rest of the arcs they would have no choice but to watch them normally so why should this arc be any different, not to mention the movie has slight spoilers, so it ent a good idea

Its honestly not that jarring. I have rewatched Gintama like 4 times, and it never affects me going from the more recent episodes back to first season episodes. The earlier animation honestly isn't that bad anyway. Also, the slight spoilers isn't that extreme to where it will ruin their future viewing experience. More like exciting as you get a sneak peak of the greatness to come.
