Thanks to all your support, I'll finally be able to upgrade from this hunka junk to something newer!! (going from an i5-6600 to an i9-12900k) I don't have an exact date, but I'll be putting things into motion here soon! (Need to plan a trip to microcenter for their crazy bundles)

Hopefully I'll finally be able to speed things up around here.
It's hard to say what the full effect will be, lots of little things make blender hang and chug that I can't remember. Fluid sims sure won't take 3+ hours to run anymore though, that's for sure.
