I was confused and disappointed, am also a big Charlie fan who btw figures into Jim Carrey's odd new book. Quicky read some reviews to help me get it, then listened to the audiobook which was soooo much clearer. I recommend it, esp for Dr Honda bc of it's psych content.

I like it even more now. I found it painfully drawn out in the beginning and then turned to a frustratingly immature way of creating fear and then confusing me again with his caricature like parents a different points in time and continuing to unfold in so many different ways. But after watching it i read reviews and book comparisons and I understood it more. If only I knew that the real protagonists was the guy not the girl and like Humberto said it is a horror movie about the stuff that goes on in peoples head and how your childhood trauma is carried through your life and you replay thoughts again and again. I'm with Humberto on this one it wasn't brilliant but the story was fascinating and the dialogue was intelligent amd insightful. I really enjoyed hearing from other guy too (Colin??), loved getting insight into film writing and production techniques and how they work with the audience (or not). Thanks for the listen.
