Outstanding episode! I would say that the core issue is not necessarily with the individual (with whatever atypicality) but, more so societal (perhaps 70/30 - "societies fault", ((just for illustrative purposes, as there is only so much a clinition can do)). That is not to condone such actions but, better allude to the causality of such phenomenon. Most reduced it is the lack of, awareness and application of emotional intelligence in people. In short, though early ages EI curriculum (yet dedicated classes), from ie:gr6+, emotional (social) intelligence can generationally populate society and therefore culture. Things such as isolation would be reduced, because the fallacies and distortions that bind ingroup constituency (thus out group objectification), would not exist as potently as they do now. +1
