Does text based therapy services (better help , talk space etc) foster dependence

Only partway through this so far, but wanted to say thanks to the guest for sharing her story--it's very validating to hear about another marriage counselor who crossed boundaries with a client. I'm sorry you dealt with that... It has eerie echoes of my own story, except that my marriage counselor was male (and I'm female), so even more confusing in a way. It didn't end particularly well, and I ended up very hurt by him. (Still married though!)
