Just a quick sketch! I've been thinking hard about SpeFide's suggestion to do more realistic anatomy, so I focused on arms for this on.

He looks like Zootopia's Chief Bogo. I realized only after I was done, haha. He's... Well, he's not Bogo, but you can pretend if you want!

I made a GIF, too! (Testing in-line images)

Haha, you can see when I go look up actual references.

I've wanted to make a GIF of how I sketch for a little while, but it's very intimidating! I've gotten a lot more confident with my sketching, so I get the initial pose down in just a few strokes, making it hard to capture with still frames.  I also tend to sketch kind of hap-haphazardly, because I don't always know what pose I'm going for when I start.

I really have to be in a whole 'nother mindset. In the later steps of an image, where things go comparatively slower, I can say "Oh, I've been rendering for a few minutes, I'll save a frame here." But with the beginning,  I have to make a new frame every 5-10 seconds, then every 30, then every minute or so. At least, if I want to try and capture how I'm thinking, and all the little things that get erased out and tweaked, like this guy's head, before I found refs and basically re-drew it.

... Just making a video would work, I know. I do want to move up to videos eventually, but I also really enjoy GIFs. I'll keep trying!
