Is therapy just ever like… A flop for you guys? LOL. My therapist works 2 jobs, so she’s been pretty MIA with having availability for sessions, but I finally got a session with her today after 2 MONTHS without one! I was so excited to have breakthroughs & vent, but immediately she was like “I only have 30 minutes today!” & I talk A LOT 😂 So I barely even got through my updates before the session ended & feel like I am basically in the same position I was BEFORE the session… She just reiterated everything I already am working on because so much time has passed since the issue I was venting about/being able to book a session with her. Can any of you relate? I mean I love my therapist! She’s been super helpful & friendly, but sometimes therapy is just a flop I guess 🤷‍♀️ Comment below if you have experienced this/want to share! I love you!

I’m a therapist Meg and there’s nothing wrong with you voicing this concern to her! It’s honesty kinda not cool IMO for you to not know the length of the session until it starts tbh. But if you really like her voice these concerns to her & that you’re needing wanting more appts and more goal-focused ones. If you’re also wanting to change therapists there’s nothing wrong with that either especially if she’s not able to offer you what you need!! I found mine on psychology today I just searched female therapists and picked one with a kind face haha
