My rental agency is the WORST. I have 15 foot ceilings and there is a smoke detector at the top. They replace the batteries for my neighbor, but told me it was in my lease that I was responsible for changing them (even though my neighbor signed the same lease??) So I had to go out at 11pm and buy a ladder and borrow my 6 foot 7 friend to change it. Needless to say, that on top of a lot of other BS, I did not resign my lease and will be moving in July lol

that is soooo goddamn annoying! i hate when landlords favor certain tenants! like ours is fixing our roof but refuses to fix our neighbor’s heat & he rents from her too!! so frustrating
