Late night snack (Patreon)

Hope you're having a good day so far! I've been craving ramen lately and I thought what better way to address that craving than to make some art about it? 

And that's exactly what I did. 

I ventured significantly out of my comfort zone with this piece (backgrounds, props, and composition are trouble spots for me) and I'm glad I did! Trying out new art things, even if they're hard can be very rewarding. Even if it doesn't come out exactly as you envisioned it, you still put in that effort and that's what truly matters. :)

A little backstory, the two gals in this drawing are part of a band. They practice together after school, late into the night and are often very hungry by the time they wrap up their jam sesh. One night they found a mysterious ramen stall run by a friendly cat ghost. They were skeptical at first, but were won over by the delicious bowls of ramen and the ghost's amiable personality. The two have made it a weekly tradition to pay the ramen stall a visit and fill their bellies with warm broth and good company. :3
