✏️✧ September Sketchbook tour #2 ✧ so I made a new OC and have been drawing her nonstop (Patreon)

Hello! *ੈ✩‧₊˚

I recently sat down to brainstorm new designs for my shop's thank you cards and drew a random character as a placeholder for one of the ideas. From the first sketch, I could tell something felt different and out of curiosity, I followed that thread to see what I could come up with. I found myself drawing her again and again, the simplicity of her design allowing me to explore a variety of ideas in a short amount of time. I've designed a lot of OCs in the past, but my interest in them typically fizzled out within a week or so. With this OC, I felt an immediate connection to her energy and wanted to explore more of her story, her world, and her style. Whenever I notice my creative curiosity piques in this way, I do my best to see it through. These are the rare aha! moments I hope to build up to from my regular sketching practice. 

I'd like to introduce you to my OC Sleepy Creature! ✧˖° She's a dreamy lady who loves listening to music, spending time with her cat companion, and exploring worlds filled with water, clouds, and stars. I'm building out a moodboard and playlist for her and am excited to continue delving into this universe and giving shape to the ideas that are swimming around in my head. It's speaking to me in a way I can't fully articulate through words, so I'm grateful that drawings exist to better share how it makes me feel~
