🌟handmade stickers and inadvertently practicing photography (Patreon)

Hello! ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡.•
I've been digging around in my old art supplies lately and rediscovering the joys of creating with physical mediums. The majority of art I've made the past 4 years was done digitally, meaning I spent a lot of time staring at a computer screen throughout all parts of the creating process from gathering inspiration, sketching, painting, and adding details. I got into a rhythm with the digital workspace and figured it was all streamlined and convenient that way. I could keep doing things all in one place and be satisfied. As life goes, it was until it wasn't.
Making these stickers was one of my first forays back into creating traditionally. I made things as low-stakes as possible, grabbing long abandoned label paper and unsharpened color pencils to lay down sketches and play with shapes and colors. There's a satisfaction I get when working with physical art supplies that I've never been able to replicate with digital tools. And I don't even think I need to have that expectation from digital mediums, they're different and that's okay.
I've also picked up the unexpected skill of photography and photo editing now that I'm making a lot of traditional art. The first round of photos I took to share these stickers turned out so laughably bad that learning photography basics became a necessity. Taking photos is a skill I haven't had to practice for awhile again, because so much of my art was created digitally from start to finish. It's been gratifying engaging with something that I didn't have the intention of learning, but ended up exploring anyway. I love the process of making things for reasons like this, you never know what you're gonna end up doing and it's exciting~ ^_^

p.s.: lol at my pipe dream of making multiple sets of handdrawn stickers only to cut out these 9 designs and feel the RSI creeping in
