Ramen after a long day~ (WIP) (Patreon)

I've got a work in progress to share with you today. Continuing 2017's goal of drawing more backgrounds I've been exploring new environments in my work and trying to push myself creatively and technically. This piece has to do with a ramen stand that two musicians frequent after their late night jam sessions. Phew, all this talk about food has me feeling hungry! 

This piece has required a great amount of attention to detail, which I'm discovering is something I'm rather fond of. I greatly enjoy building spaces and decorating them with quirky items and touches. I don't particularly know why I have this penchant, but it's oddly satisfying to curate a space. Maybe I'm a bird or was a bird in a past life. You know how birds will spend their entire lives collecting objects and leaves/branches in hopes of impressing a mate? Yeah, like that, but minus the impressing a mate part. 

I hope you like this sneak peek and I can't wait to show you the piece when it's finished! I'm gonna add lots of lighting effects to really hone in that late night moody, neon light atmosphere.
