I'm excited to share with you today a new art series I've recently completed! I've always been a fan of Renaissance and Baroque artwork because of its grandiosity and drama so I wanted to do an Overwatch portrait series inspired by those periods. This series in particular focuses on the ladies and draws techniques specifically from Rembrandt's work, which I adore.  This first piece features Mercy basking in the golden glow of her halo. I wanted to emphasize rich yellows and browns throughout this piece to signify warmth and draw attention to her highlighted face.

 I hope you'll look forward to and enjoy this series as it goes up! Note, this series was completed far before Orisa was announced as a new hero so I don't have a completed piece of her. Putting that fact out there to mitigate any confusion. ^^
