Hi everyone!

It's done. It's finished. It's complete.

Thank you all for the lovely feedback on the WIP post I made regarding this piece, I'm so happy you liked it! :D It's gone through some significant work since then and I feel like if I were to add anymore it would disrupt the balance. So I'm stopping myself while I'm ahead haha.

It's been a couple months since I've attempted a piece with multiple characters. I always feel apprehensive approaching more complicated pieces for a variety of reasons: composition, balance, spacing, etc. I've found that the best way to tackle subjects that you're unfamiliar with is to just dive headfirst into them. It's the same idea I use when drawing backgrounds. Just do it. It's always going to be a learning process, but the more you actually sit down and do it the more comfortable you'll become with drawing them! And let's be honest, the subject of this piece definitely saw me through 'til the end. She gives me endless inspiration. /starry eyes

I'll be sharing a tutorial next week, specifically on this piece, on how composition in artwork can be manipulated and used to make your pieces POP. Hope you look forward to it! Thank you all so much for your support, you are true angels! I hope you have a lovely weekend. <3

Love,

Vicki
