You Fight Like a Girl! (Patreon)

Hope your Monday has gotten off to a good start! I'm excited to share with you a new art series I've recently completed. It's called Fight Like a Girl! and features the wonderful ladies of Sailor Moon. I've greatly admired these characters since I was a wee youngin' and looked up to them wishing that I too would one day have their grace and strength. They were normal girls with problems and struggles much like my own, but they also possessed incredible strength and power. Seeing them helped me understand that those traits aren't mutually exclusive and that I'm allowed to be both strong and soft. 

The phrase 'Fight like a girl' in this instance is subversive. I hope this series can shine positive light on being compared to a girl. We are complex, multi-faceted, and hardworking individuals.  And to me, that is strength.
