Hello everyone!

Hope you all had a relaxing and fun holiday! I've eaten so much food these past few days I'm probably set for the entirety of 2017. I've got a really fun new art series to share with you, but first some housekeeping!

1. Stickers of the Overwatch ladies I drew arrived this month and they look AMAZING! If you're ever in need of ordering batches of stickers, consider StickerApp, they do an excellent printing job. I'll make sure to share photos on Patreon before the shop post goes live. They will be available in my store come January 2017 WOOT WOOOOOT!

2. The Christmas art  I did for Blizzard went live on Overwatch's twitter  on Christmas day! I'm so happy I got to work with such a cool company and draw characters from a game I love. I'll be sharing the process/walkthrough of that piece next week on Patreon so do look forward to that! :D I hope I can work with them again in the future because that'd be siiiiiick!

Now that that's outta the way I wanna explain the art in this post. Ever since Inktober ended I've been wanting to do more traditional art. There's something about drawing with ink and marker that is so unique and entirely unbeatable. Digital art is fun, but I feel more accomplished and proud when I make traditional art. So, I decided to start a new series of Overwatch characters enjoying post-victory meals consisting of foods from their homeland. So far I've finished two characters. I drew Zarya enjoying piroshki  by a river (above) and D.Va having some KBBQ with her mech:

I've been having a LOT of fun with these pieces and can't wait to share more with you as they come along! I'm reluctant at this point, because I'm so attached to them, but I'll likely be selling the originals like I did with my Inktobers so if you're interested do keep an eye out for that! ;D

I wish you all a happy new year and I'll see you in 2017! Toodle-loo!

Love,

Vicki

Love that you are playing with more traditional in addition to your great digital art. It's no secret how much I loved your Inktobers...so I look forward to seeing all of these!

It's been so fun and a new challenge alltogether working with traditional art! I learn a lot with every piece trying out new techniques. Thank you so much for your support Tim, I hope you'll enjoy this series as well! :D
