hello friends! :D

how are you feeling today? I hope you've been well~ this month has been a wild one, but at the end of the day I'm just happy I get to experience life. I've found that the older I get the more opportunities I have to better cope with life's ups and downs. I'm letting go of the idea that things will be better. I'm deciding that things are better right now. I only ever have the present moment, might as well make it the best I can. ^^  

since changing the sketchbook schedule from weekly to monthly I've felt a renewed excitement for art-making. I've said it many times before, but I just felt so caught up in the schedule rather than creating things I enjoy or acting on inspirational impulse. giving myself the space and time to play has felt incredibly freeing. and this may sound dramatic, but I feel as if I reconnected with an old part of myself and reclaimed my love for art. ; . ; 

I hope you enjoy looking through this month's sketches! I drew inspiration from so many sources this month and had a lot of fun running in whatever direction my heart led me. wishing you a lovely month ahead in the upcoming holiday season!
