admittedly, it's still pretty hot here since I live in the middle of the desert but still! I love acknowledging the changing seasons and embracing the traditions that come with it. september makes me think about the beginnings of fall, its wonderful holidays and general feelings of coziness. I wanted to try my hand at more muted colors that reflect a sort of settling in and bidding farewell to the bright energy of summer. are there any fall traditions that you're looking forward to? >u<

above is this month's postcard! I got an idea to draw a florist witch taking a break from her duties to enjoy a book and admire the sky and warm light from the window that fills her tiny shop. it's been awhile since I've worked with browns and greens and thought it fitting for september to incorporate earth tones into this piece. moving forward I want to keep challenging myself to draw backgrounds. if I've learned anything as of late it's that running into difficulty doesn't mean that anything has gone wrong. we can't expect ourselves to get everything on the first try, learning is a process! 

and here's this month's sticker! I wanted to stick with the theme of flowers and soft colors . the colors definitely remind me of fall and make me want to cozy up with a blanket, book, and a fresh cup of tea~
