how've you been? I hope your summer is going well so far! ^^ sooo lately I can't get enough of outer space and all of its marvels and wonders that fill its great expanse. I feel strangely calmed by not knowing what is out there. uncertainty usually puts me on edge, but in this case it feels comforting to not know and to maybe not ever know. although it is nebulous and formless, I really enjoy imagining different celestial-inspired entities and designing characters based on outer space so that's what inspired the pieces for this month! 

above: this month's postcard! cleaned up an old sketch and put it through a great deal of transformation. I wanted her to look like a glowing being amidst the dark sky. sort of larger than life and infinitesimally small at the same time, constantly shifting and changing as the cosmos continually morph to fill new space~

and here is the sticker for this month! I had this strong image of a woman holding a moon in her hands and ended up designing a moon goddess/deity. I want to keep pushing myself to flesh out details and not be afraid to fully render clothing and accessories in all their imagined lacey glory.
