hello friends! o(´∀｀*)

how are you? i hope you're doing okay~ <3 nothing much new to report in terms of artistic revelations, but i've just been staying open to new things. like with anything else, i think it's easy for artists to fall into habits where we end up drawing things in the same way over and over again. there's nothing wrong with that obviously, but for the sake of growth and experimentation i want to keep changing things here and there to better learn what and what doesn't work within my creative process. i like knowing that art style can evolve over time and become something new and unexpected down the line. it keeps the process exciting in my opinion. :)

above: a couple of cute dessert lolitas! :D I'm really loving the concept of food hats lately I think they're so adorable. I want to make a series of these so I'll keep coming back to this with new ideas~

A sketch based on an excerpt from 1Q84. I've been reading that book voraciously in the past week, I seriously can't put it down. Anytime there's a spare moment in the day I pick it up and try to get through as many pages as possible.
