how are you doing today? I hope your week is going well so far~ :3c lately I've been changing up the way I draw hair. yes I am about to launch into a whole thesis to overexplain this change's  emotional importance but would it really be me if I didn't do that? 

the thing that got me into drawing was anime and manga. i've talked about this in-depth in a past post and how once i took an art class in high school felt a need to change my style from anime to something more western. (caveat: not to say that western and anime are mutually exclusive styles and what does style really mean anyway but i trust you have enough discernment to understand what i'm talking about!) but lately i've been getting back into my love for anime art and implementing some of those style choices, like the hair, back into my drawings. it's been an unprecedented healing experience and i'm happy to be drawing in a style that feels more true to me! :D

above: Black Rock Shooter! I haven't drawn her in literal years. I was obsessed with vocaloids in middle/high school but stopped drawing them awhile ago because I felt like I needed to branch out from anime. however...some things just don't change. 

BTS's new concept Boy With Luv! I uh, have not stopped listening to this song since it came out. It's really amazing to see how much BTS has grown over the years. I started listening to their music ~ 3 years ago when Dope came out and while I'm not the most diehard fan I love the bops they've come out with.
